I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue with their R3. My LCD needed replaced recently and as a result of the replacement I now have two issues.

    1. The lid (and a second replacement lid) is loose along the front. By front I mean where you would normally lift the lid to open the laptop. Looking at the new and old lid it's apparent that the way the lip is made the ends are not properly sealed, if at all, so that the lip flexes. Since the lip has tabs that hold in the LCD... the whole lid will detach from the LCD screen if not very careful.

    2. A solid white glow in the middle of the LCD screen at power up and periodically depending on what's being sent to the screen.

Very strange and very annoying. I almost wish I hadn't had the LCD replaced for what is probably a non issue only to end up with a poorly assembled machine after two different repair techs have been by...

3rd tech and new parts on the way... gotta love having to disassemble more and more of the machine in an attempt to get it back to proper condition! ;)
