I have a feeling the IR port in the screen bezel is exclusively for the transfer of nVidia 3D timing data and the glasses.

It is not a standard IRDa port which can be addressed as a serial device or used to receive data from a remote of any sort.

I do not believe the R3 has a standard IRDa serial device.

Your sig is hilariously cruel, but funny haha.

So can those of us who don't have the 3D model use an IR controller? Does the R3 even come with an IR receiver?
