    R3 capable of 5.1 digital surround?

    haven't been able to get mine to output 5.1 audi using s/pdif optical cable to my speakers. anyone been able to make it work?

    It's supposed to be capable of it but I don't believe it's using the s/pdif only. The R3 I believe is a multi-connection type of surround, hence the multiple headphone/speaker/etc connections. If I had anything that used that type of connection for surround I would but I don't right this second as I sold my logitech Z's. :(
