u PROBABLY want to try to get the 6870 changed to a 6970 at least.
-
I would go for the 6990m. Its worth the price for that massive gpu boost.
-
Heck, make it the 580m while ur at it.
-
go with the 6990m if u can afford it.
-
get the 6970 and you will not regret it.
-
6990 > 6870
-
Yeah lose bluray
-
I would Lose the blue ray too.
-
Should I keep the 1920x1080 screen?
-
-

-
Cool so I dump blue-ray and pick up the 6990. Adequate system now?
-
-
Okay I cancelledthat one and ordered a new one. Same exact specs just dumped the blu-ray and went to a 6990.
-
Sounds like a good setup. Congrats!
-
Yes, for sure!
-
1080p > 6990M -
Yup it's perfect now, congrats on your purchase.
-
Awesome ty
Won't be here until Aug 5 or so -
congrats on your new order, you made the right choice on dropping blu ray for the 6990m.
You can grab the blu ray drives for $40 on eBay all the time. -
Nice! I wonder if I should've gotten the killer wireless but to be honest most of my gaming is wired.
-
I've owned both the intel 6300, and the 1501. I can't say that I have noticed any difference at all in them.
I download at a solid 2MB/s, 20Mbps, with either one, to me that's more than fast enough for any gaming and downloading.
Never had any connection issues on stock either, I think the only reason to go to a higher card is if your router is pretty far away. -
Cool, good to know. Thanks
R3 incoming. :)
