    Hi there,

I'm trying to re-install the OS from the disc provided by Alienware however I've run into a problem. The problem is during the install process the install keeps getting stuck at "Expanding Windows files...", I've tried it a few times and it is getting stuck at various stages (currently it is stuck at 22%) and now there is no reading from the disc.

Does anyone have a fix for this? I am installing onto a Samsung SSD. This is the first time I've run into a problem with it.

The laptop is M17x R3 with BIOS A08.

I ended up making a bootable USB out of my Alienware disc, and it installed perfectly well.

    Thanks for the tips.
