    hey all,

I just wondered if it's possible/necessary to upgrade my R3.

    Current specs:

    2670QM/24GB 1333/240GB SSD/1TB/680M 4GB/BD/X-Fi HD USB/Win 7

the 680M is being replaced by an on the way 780M.

My main concern is the CPU... Can it be changed?? What is recommended??

    Thanks!!

I upgraded from a 2630qm to 2960xm and to be honest other than benchmarking scores it hasn't made a real noticeable difference in everyday use/gaming.

Possible yet not necessary. Your machine is rocking as it is and the CPU is not bottlenecking it
