So i have an R3 and im trying to use HDMI out to connect it to a tv. I know there are four modes of displaying this:

    -only the laptop,
    -only the tv
    -extended (extends screen)
    -duplicate (tv and laptop)

It used to work fine on duplicate, but now it only works on extended and i don't know what happened. When i use duplicate it changes the resolution to really small on my laptop display and my tv doesn't get a signal.

Try go into duplicate and then change the resolution to 1280x720 or 1920x1080 depending on the resolution of your TV.

Yeah, I have the same problem only I can't connect at all. It picks up my Sony but my tv is blank.

For some reason when it's connected and on duplicate it only lets me set the resolution up to 1024 x 768....It's a 36 inch Vizio tv. However when i'm on extended the resolution is on like 1920 or whatever.
