I've got the 8 GB Dual Channel 1600 in my system.

I'm just wondering how does the Dual Channel split?

    Is it:

    DIMM 0 ---- DIMM 1
    DIMM 2 ---- DIMM 3

    Or is it

    DIMM 0 ---- DIMM 2
    DIMM 1 ---- DIMM 3

In other words, the adjacent RAM slots are always on different channels. So if you put a DIMM in each of the slots on the bottom of your laptop, you will be using both channels. Same goes for the slots under the keyboard.
