My little brother's laptop is an M17X which has 8 GB of RAM in it. I have another 2 Kingston RAM SODIMMs lying around so I installed them and the laptop booted and tested in PassMark Performance test just fine @ 16GB

But what I noticed in CPU-Z is that one of those Kingston SODIMMs is a 1.35V where as the RAM originall installed was 1.5V and one of the Kingston SODIMMs I installed is 1.5V as well

now what about that 1.35V SODIMM?

    Would you.....

    1) Remove the 1.35V SODIMM and stay @ 12 GB RAM?

    or

    2) Remove both SODIMMs since @ 12GB RAM I won't be getting Dual Channel speeds out of the RAM so it's better to stick to 8 GB in Dual Channel

    or

    3) Keep all of them despite one being @ 1.35V?
