Was just browsing around looking for new IB config and found this on MSI.

    • 64GB SSD + 64GB SSD RAID + 750GB(7200RPM)
    • Blu-ray Disc burner

Reference Link: MSI Notebook Official Website

Is it possible to have 2 SSDs on Raid 0 plus a secondary drive and still retain the optical drive? Can we do this on M17xR3?

Is the Raid setup going to occupy the 2 drive bay already? How come they can still put a 750Gb and a BD drive? Does MSI have more drive bay than AW?

Edit: Or did they (MSI) put 2x64GB mSATA functioning as Raid0?

Wow so that's it. Is that raid setup going to be as fast or faster than SATA raid0? I thought mSata max speed is 3GBPS? So is their super raid only about half the speed of the SATA Raid 0 setup?

Edit: Just saw their graph showing a sequential read of 928.6mbps. That's fast! Is that setup possible for AW?
