I know a video has been posted already on how to install memory modules in R3. But I know some would prefer to see pictures. So here is a mini guide on how to install memory modules at the bottom of the keyboard.

    1. Remove the battery at the bottom panel.

    2. Remove the 2 screws that attach the bottom cover from the main body of the laptop. Remove the cover.

    3. Remove the 5 screws that attach the keyboard from the body. The screws that need to be removed are marked "I".

    4. Once you removed the 5 screws out, flip the laptop and open the lid. Now carefully remove the front cover that surrounds the keyboard.

    5. Once you removed the front cover, carefully put it near the LCD.

    6. Remove the five screws that attach the keyboard from the board.

    7. Gently place the keyboard near the LCD allowing it to expose the memory slots. Some people will tell you to remove the connector cable, but I find it unnecessary. You can do it though by carefully pulling the connector out.

    8. Remove the three screws that attach the cover of two of the memory slots. I am not showing the cover when it was removed as one of my screws was a little strip and I did not want to run the risk of completely busting it. :D

    9. Install the memory as one will normally do. Now when you're done installing the memory, install all the remove parts in reverse order.

    Enjoy installing your ram. :D
