    Hey all.

Just been cleaning my R3 today and notice a tiny socket labelled "JP1" just above the disc drive, on the underside of the motherboard.

Anyone elaborate as to its function please?

    Thanks

    Does it have 2 pins?

If so its a jumper of some kind, probably to clear bios or to change a bios configuration setting

No idea. Post a photo of it to elaborate.
