Hey, I was lately thinking about getting a laptop cooler,
The Cooler Master SF*Steath Fighter* 19 with USB 3.0 was what i liked.
But no place seems to have it in stock with USB3.0

So i am now looking for recommendations for a really Good Gaming Laptop Cooler that looks good and has alot of features.

And if anyone knows any place that has the CM SF19 USB3.0 in stock please link me

    Thanks

Anybody, No one has a possible idea of what might be a good cooler?

I think people aren't answering because this question has been "asked" so many times before...and answered. The reason I use the work ask lightly is because you want a gaming LC, others want an LC they can have on the laps, others just want a reguar LC. To answer your question: I use a CoolerMaster U3 which I modified by swapping out the USB powered fans with faster spinning case fans. Here is the thread which we are discussing this at: http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m17x/684828-laptop-cooling-pad.html

There won't be too many LCs out there with USB 3.0 since 3.0 is still so new that is hasn't had much a chance to be incorporated into LCs. If you want an LC with a USB 2.0 hub, you can always go with a Zalman NC3000-S. Its got three USB ports to plug into on the back. Good luck.

Well, I was something with some cool lights that go with the m17x, USB port to offset my keyboard setup, and well should look good, be solid, and should work fine, Not as amazingly as the U3 but still a difference in temperature.

Also, using a high speed USB. 3.0 port for a cooler is a waste IMO its performance won't improve whether it's on 2.0 or 3.0

How many ports you need man!? I use about 2 (3 tops when charging my phone) and one of those is powering the fans to the U3 lol, the other is my Razer Naga Epic.

By the way, for anyone interested in the U3, you may or may not know that the USB plug that powers the fans and speed controller is a pass-through type meaning you don't lose a USB slot just to the cooler. You can piggy back a USB device off of it.

Well lets see, I am going to be using 2 for my Tactx Keyboard, *I am not sure if it uses 2 or 1 though,* (Also is the Tactx Keyboard any good).

Another for my Tactx mouse (Speaking of mouses, Hows the Naga Epic) which i know is really good, and one for the Razer Nostromo So all 4 USB ports will be used, However hearing about the Pass-Through Port connection is really good, Another reason to get it,

Does the laptop stay on the cooler, Does it slip, Hows the profile on it, Does the system look good on it, Feels like the same kind of style ETC etc.

The m17x keyboard is very good on its own however a mouse is a must, I personally use the Alienware one without the Alienware brand on it

Don't now about the keyboard, but i had the TactX Mouse. Is a decent mouse, does his job. I've replaced it with a RAT7 anyway and i couldn't be more happy of the purchase. Higly recomended
