So I just got my new Crucial 256 gb SSD and I want to do a clean install on my computer and start from scratch.

I've been reading HOW TO: Clean Windows 7 Install (Driver Install Order) Guide for Alienware Systems and HOW TO: Restore the Alienware 'Look and Feel' after a clean install of Windows 7.

I have a 64gb mSATA, which is really small and I need to make more space. Does anyone have a solution for moving program files to my new 256 gb SSD?

So, you'll be installing Win7 onto the new Crucial SSD, right? The mSATA can only perform at SATA II speeds in its slot, so it makes best sense to have your OS and favorite programs on the SSD. Since you're clean installing, you'll just need to select the destination drive for which programs you want where. Let me know if I understood your request correctly.

Sorry I wasn't being that clear, I was hopefully planning to reinstall the OS to the mSATA and possibly relocating the program files to the ssd.

But then you'd be relegating the OS to SATA II speeds. That doesn't make much sense to me.

I believe you should put the O.S in the Crucial and use the mSata as cache or something.
