    Hey guys,

im curious what you guys use to do a registry clean that doesnt wipe out the configuration of the alienware graphics on startup and shut down? I used CCleaner and had trouble keeping the configurations with the graphics and the win 7 settings on the background. I lost the preview pane for the task bar, it was just showing the document name instead of the picture.

i just restored to the day befores back up so it wasnt a big deal but sort of bummed me out since i wanted to have my registry cleaned up a bit after uninstalling a couple of programs. I had some dead reg links so i wanted to clean them up.

I actually did the reg cleaner twice. I ran it once and cleaned it, then ran it again and cleaned some more stuff that came up again. Maybe that was my issue, probably should have only done it once instead of twice.

any thoughts on what reg cleaner would work well or i should just do it once instead of twice?

    Thanks,
    steve
