I am from Singapore and we have option to purchase Alienware with 0% Installment plan for 1 year by CC.

26th March - I have made my order by phone. I used my brother's CC and gave them all the Credit card info and told my sales rep that I want 0% installment plan.

30th March - Dell calls me and informs me that Bank is unable to get thru my brother. Kindly tell your brother to call Bank to verify. My Brother called bank immediately and told them to proceed. Bank informed him they will take 2 working days to process this request. Dell calls me after a short while and informs me the same.

Today (4th April, Monday) is the 3rd working day and Dell still didn't get back to me. So I called them and my sales rep is on leave. The other person on the line answered after asking them about my order status that "To speed up the process give me your CC info again and we will apply to the Bank".

So I told her, you guys have already entered it in the system and I believe is been applied to the bank. Then why do you need it again. Then she said your previous application was cancelled and hence our CC details has been expired and will need it again. Which I find damn bull crap as I did not get any notification from Dell saying its rejected!!

I just told her get my sales rep to call me tmr and I will talk to him directly!

So do you think I should give CC info again if they ask me tomorrow? I feel a bit unsecured as its very weird to ask for CC info again n again even after they said its in the system.

Please advise if any others has faces similar issues.

You sound like an honest guy but you have to concider the amount of fraud that comes out of china. some of the statistics have it that over 90% of the software in China is pirated and a VERY large % of online scams come out of China.....i cant tell you how many times i get email about my world of warcrap account that has some very bad translated english, telling me to go to a web page to unlock my account lol. It is unfourtunate that you have to jump through all of these extra hoops though...sorry man. When you finally get your R3, welcome to the club.
