    Hello,

Over the course of the few months my temperatures have steadily increased. It is now up to the point that my cpu idles at 50 degrees and maxes at 105 during gaming, my gpu idles at 53 and maxes at 80 (which I think is fine?).

So it seems I need to repaste my cpu, however I was wondering if there is any difference as to which paste is the best. I was also wondering if any1 knew any good videos/guides for this subject.

    Thanks.

Is it normal that the GPU fans just work A LOT harder when under full load?

So much more air that comes out the gpu vent (right side) despite running cooler than the cpu.

sometimes you can find this when cleaning your fans

make sure you clean your laptop at least every 6 months to avoid...burning something

I will do that in the weekend just seems weird that the dust would only go into the left fan.

I never repasted as it is only 6 months old.

I cleaned it today and there was indeed a convenient layer of dust blocking the outtake of the fan. It is already running 10 degrees cooler, but still too hot so I ordered some as5 to repaste and also a notebook cooler for the summer months coming up.

I guess it's also normal that the GPU fan works harder considering they're both different kind of fans.

Also those things holding the fan screws are so delicate!! I broke 2 of the 3, gotta be careful when I repaste next week.

I ordered the Prolimatech Pk-1 thermal paste and am happy with the results. Let us know how it goes.
