    Replacement screws for m17x r3

    I stripped one of the screws holding the cover of the memory slots coz they're so freaking tight. Its not completely strip but I am wondering if I can ask Dell to send me some replacement screws, if in any case my other screws get strip.

    Has anyone had experience asking for this?

    Call them, they will send you out a package of screws. When mine was opened for the first time they had to replace 2 screws that got stripped out.

    Just called DELL and they'll be shipping the replacements screws :) Nice woman AW tech support I talked with.

    You got lucky. EVERY female person I have talked to on the phone has NO idea what is going on. Except the lady from when I filed my BBB report, but other than that it has always been miss. Guys too, but those are hit or miss :D
