In the near future, I plan to replace my current 1.5 GB Geforce GTX 460m with a 1.5 GB Geforce GTX 560m if need be. I saw an ad on eBay and I plan to purchase the 560m off there. However, I need to know about the compatibility issues that may arise when I try to replace this. The ad says that the card has a MXM 3.0b interface (which I am assuming is the type of slot) and I was wondering if this would affect my decision to buy this card at all. The post also does not come with a heat sink and I was wondering the options that I have regarding this issue.

    Thanks for reading,
    Dilithium

Your heatsink should fit the new card, however I would not pay for that upgrade. I'd go a step up to the 580M or the ATi options of 6970 or 6990m.

^^^ agreed 560m is not really a step up at all, its pretty much an oc'ed 460m.

    Do you have 3d?

What can you not run well with the 460?

Have you tried to over clock your 460?

Dell vBIOS is required for 3D support, and I think that is the only requirement.
