My M17x R3 BSOD on me when trying to run NVIDIA Monitor, and when it restarted the screen resolution was at the lowest possible setting of 800 x 600, when I went in to adjust the screen resolution I couldn't adjust it up to normal of 1920 x 1080 but only 1280 x 1024. What can I do to fix this, and Ive already tried restarting the computer and that did nothing, I am on battery, but have access to the plug.

    My specs are:
    upgraded screen, 1920 x 1080 wled
    Nvidia GTX 460M
and an added 120 GB HDD

Have you tryed uninstalling your NVIDIA drivers and then reinstalling them again?

I got it working again, after plugging it in and doing a shutdown and waiting a few minutes and then starting it back up, not quite sure what caused the BSOD but I'm not gonna try the Nvidia Monitor again.
