    I have an R1 M17x. I ran the custom test while going through an unrelated (failing bearing on graphics card fan) support issue with Dell and got some other errors come up:


    1. Device Initialization Error
    Error Code 5D00: 0009
    Msg: UUTUSBBTM - DEVICE_ITITIALIZATION_FAILURE User must reattach unt on ROOT HUB Port 6 and re-start tests

    ----

    2. IEEE 1394
    RICOH R5C832 Int 1394 0
    IEEE 1394 Register Test

    Error Code 2300:0124

    Msg: IEEE_1394 - Incorrect interrupt count


    ----


    3. Error Code 1B63:0268
    Msg: AUDIO Codec failed to generate interrupts


    ---


    I think 2. is related to this error that comes up in device manager:

    Can anyone tell me what these mean and how I can fix them?

    that looks like the chipset devices, which can include USB ports, Sound card, Multimedia card slot devies etc on the laptop.

    Have you tried instaling both the intel, and Ricoh chipset drivers again ?
