    Hello everyone,
This Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I'm planning on getting upgrades for my alienware 17 r5. My question is, where can I get the sata interposer? I've seen them on ebay, but those are for the m15x/m17x, which are older models. Does anyone know if those work for my model of alienware?
    Thanks in advance

There are no SATA interposer cables on the new Alienware 17 R1 (2013).

What exactly are you attempting to do with your Alienware 17? New SSD? Extra HDD?

At 1:40~ you can see that there are no cables. There is only a little connector. All of the SATA ports come with the connector.

I think Dell forgot to include one, because when I opened my laptop, there was no connector. My laptop is out of warranty, so I'll need to buy a connector (not transposer, sorry for the confusion). Also yeah, I'm inserting a new sdd.
