Hey :) i have alienware M17X R4 brand new and im running Need For Speed the run and unfortunately it does few problems some times..

Right now when im playing.. speeding on A and moving with arrows.. when i combine A + SHIFT left arrow doesnt work with it but the right arrow does work... what can cause the problem? ofc the arrow by it self works great..

    Thanks alot, Barak.

Try an XBox 360 controller for PC :D. Personal preference but driving games really need an analogue steering input - I love my FF steering wheel!

get at least a 360 controller. I use the wired model. So many games naturally support it and it is much better than keyboard for driving (also for those pc-to-console-port-games is really nice)

Of course First person Shooters and alike have to be played with keyboard+mouse or combination of keyboard+mouse & controller XD (i use it in BF3 for flying vehicle piloting)

    P.S.

the controller don't have to be necessarely "for PC" version. You can grab a wired controller for Xbox360 even from blockbuster and it will work just fine. And if you grab two of them there are game out there that have a split screen feature and are a lot of fun to play with friends. (dirt3, dirt showdown, Bang Bang racing support up to 4 players on the same screen and it is a lot of fun xD, I believe also driver sanfrancisco and others)

and yes, i know that anyway keyboard gosting it's a pita and shouldn't be happening on a gaming laptop in the very first place...
