Had to replace the bottom half of a m17 R3. When I open the box the used replacement bottom half had a heat sink pad stuck to the metal where the ssd goes. The current M17 R3 which I am working on was never touch by anyone except the factory. No pad in it. Is this aftermarket? Anyone recognize it?
    Thank you

That might be aftermarket or factory. XPS and Alienware usually come with the thermal pad for the SSD, but not always. I would use it if I was you.
