Hey guys I've got a spare £150 to spend, If needed I can go slightly higher.
I'm looking for a decent SSD, around the 128gb mark.
At the moment I got my eye on this
OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive (OCZSSD2-2VTXE120G) [OCZSSD2-2VTXE120G]
So what's all your suggestions?

I have heard that the Crucial M4 is a good SATA III SSD and it is in your price range I believe. If you are willing to spend more I have heard nothing but good things about the Intel SSDs especially the 510 series.

I love my C300. Crucial's prices are pretty great, and they're middle of the road as far as reliability/speed is concerned. Great value for what you spend imo.

Thanks for you're suggestions guys!
I have been looking at that Crucial one as well, this is my first ever ssd so I am a bit lost in what I am looking for, other than the obvious! -

The intel 510 series is the one I'm getting heard they were near or at the top although quite pricey.

I am extremely happy with my Crucial 128GB. Instant Windows boots!!!

The new Crucial M4's are out now, which i believe are the updated version of the C300. Same price in the UK for a newer version/ better performance.
You can even buy it on Overclockers UK >> Crucial M4 -

The thing about C300 vs M4 (vs Intel 510, if you will) is that the C300 and 510 use 34nm NAND which is rated to last longer than 25nm NAND that is in the M4.
However, Micron reports that endurance between the C300 and the M4 should be the same though firmware improvements. -
ok, I will read more into it, thanks for the info!
