I have an Intel M17xR2 x25m of 160GB and now I'm waiting for my new M17xR3.Primeiramente configured with a 750GB HDD and analyzing a solid state drive to configure. Like most of my intel wanted a new update and I'm in doubt between the Intel 510 250GB and 256GB Samsung 470    !Price not judge. the performance it can bring. Vertex really want to put the 3 on the list but as I live in Brazil and I feel many problems with them running out of support if necessary ok.Pelas research I did drive the 470 seems a more desirable even if the line SATA2 in a more uniform performance me very pleased to think of using it! But even here reading the forum I saw that the R3 line enters the performance SATA3 6gb/seo intel is already available with this technology but that does not reproduce in real performance gain yet? true? Valley remember that the test of intel 4k gets to be near the most ridiculous and as I said the 470 is much more balanced.

Am I right in choosing the Samsung 470 ?
or even down 4k the Intel 510 was the best choice?

Sorry my English more as I said I'm Brazilian, but as every lover of technology forums look good as this one.

    Thanks

The Samsung and Intel 510 SSDs are both good choices. I am getting a 510 250GB for mine personally, because of the lower failure rates. For you it would also depends on who gives support on Brazil.
