    Hi everybody,

Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search but I couldn't find it anywhere.

I travel to/from work by bus 4 times a month (I'm actually on the bus right now), it's a fairly long drive (6.5 hours) and I always wondered if I could play on my m17x during my ride. I have 2 SSD but I also have one HDD and that's why I have concerns regarding bumps and the movement on the road. I live in Canada so it's not the worst road on the planet but there are some occasional bumps along the way.

Is there any potential problems specially with the HDD when playing on a bus/car/train etc?

    Thanks in advance

    Regards

you can always set the HDD to park/sleep if you don't actually use it i guess, that way there is no risk to the HDD.

There's an accelerometer that automatically parks the heads if it detects a fall so you should be fine. You can see it in the device manager.

Short of a derailment no there are no concerns. It would have to be a pretty ridiculous bump , or more of a drop to cause any concerns. As Micky pointed out the accelerometer software should prevent any major problems if something big enough were to come along. If I were you ( I presume your plugging in? ) I would pick up a single outlet surge protector just in case.

There shouldn't be any issues, as previously stated the FreeFall Sensor should take care of any issues with data.

    Safe Travels!
