Has Alienware said anything about how the faulty Sandy Bridge chips will affect the R3? I'm assuming the problem is also occurring on the laptop chips as well right?

But that's not the Alienware Board and I was wondering about it affecting the R3. Won't I get modded if I ask specifically about an Alienware product and how it's being affected/ remedied due to this issue on that board?

Well more than likely this will get put into the R3 thread but then it might get off topic due to the SB flaw talk...then warnings are issued etc lol.

But just know as of now that Dell hasn't said anything on the matter but they are expected to soon I would guess.
