i recently got my alienware and everything about this machine just awesome, however in last 2 days, i am having screen tearing issues which i think is caused by a driver update... can it be a GPU related issue or did i really messed up somewhere during driver update. i really doubt its GPU related because my bench scores seems perfectly fine (6700ish at 3dmark 11)
-screen tearing is only in games and at the same horizontal spot.
-i uninstalled old drivers and installed new ones, all with mcAfee off so i need some1 to tell me what might gone wrong

it is really annoying having 60+ fps in every game and yet not enjoying the graphics so i would appreciate any assistance

Screen tearing has nothing to do with drivers. You need to enable vsync in your games, or force it on via the control panel.
