Hi guys, I am starting to have a strange issue. Some fine horizontal lines appear and are now prominent in all games. It's kind of like if it was how the screen was made when I look at it close but I don't remember noticing this earlier on. Now it bothers me.

I've re-installed drivers and nothings changed.

    Any ideas.

    Thanks.

GPU/screen showing near death signs? :(

Do you see the lines all the time (boot screen, desktop etc.)?

It could also be his GPU....... have you been running hot lately? Try undervolting or forcing lower clocks to see if this still happens in gameplay. If these lines don't exist when not playing games........ I'd bet that it's his GPU. Games stress the GPU so if its running too hot or has an unstable overclock it may be causing this. Another option may be to run the intel GPU to rule out if its a LCD or ATI failure.

The lines are much more prominent in games with dark scenes and lots of action but overall if you look closely you still see them on windows.
