Oke i'm having this issue from the very beginning when i got my m17x

i made a small video here.

    YouTube - M17x problem

You see my screen just keep flikkering.
Sometimes it is fine and the screen is all bright as long if i don't move it up or down.
I would really like to fix this, can't do anything when it is so dark.

Looks like the infamous auto dimming of the M17x-R1's CCFL display. From what I've heard, there's nothing you can do about it.

Oke i tried to contact dell with sending a e-mail.
So i get the question to type my service tag, i click find my service tag
and i get this.. no service tag found...
So i look on the back of my m17x and what do i find..
no service tag.. the numbers are coverd with black so can't read them.

Is there any other way to find my service tag?
Can't use any of the support even for phone calling i need my servictag.
