    As in the title , are these drives any good . Sound good in the ads but has anyone here actually used one ?
    Momentus XT | 7200 RPM | Seagate

    Would i need 1 or 2 of these ?

    they are good in terms of performance,comparing to a normal magnetic SATA drive it's faster but more expensive. $/Gb
    Slower than any SSD but larger capacity for lower $/Gb
    Now it depends on what you need it for(bootdrive,storage,or both which i dont recommend)

    I recently switch from a 7200 rpm to momentus xt. I can definitely see an improvement. It wont be as drastic as switching to a SSD but it works. Plus I like the price point and the capacity.
