    Second Screens m17r4. Help !

    Hi this is my first post in the forums. Hope is in the right section. Today I got my alienware. It comes with win 8. Everything was ok except when tried to connect my Samsung p2370 to the laptop using HDMI. Nothing happened. Check screen resolution 2 options in Display

    Mobile pc display
    Display device on Mobile pc display

    Chosen the second one

    Extend these displays

    Nothing happened. No signal at all.

    Updated nvidia drivers. Same. Downloaded monitor drivers same. Now it appears as TV (). But still no signal at all from the notebook. The samsung is working flawlessly in win 7 btw.
