Alright, I've searched everywhere and when I finally decide to buy a QS i7-920xm to upgrade my R2, I ask the question:
"Do I need the 240 watt power supply?"

One person, LVNeptune, was very nice to answer. I would just like to confirm his answer so I can go ahead and purchase the chip. Any help?

    Thanks.

Honestly I had a 150W adapter and the 720qm with a single 4870 when i first purchased my R2 and the 150W adapter this would happen when I ran prime and furmark @ full brightness it would cause GPU throttling and that flickering would occur. Try doing that run prime95 and furmark at the same time, and you will know if the PSU is going to be enough. This stopped when I got the 240W then I bought a second 4870 and then the 5870's in my sig now. I uploaded these videos originally for Alienware.

I think it would be best to get the 240W so that there is no throttling and also to allow for any overclocking or future graphics card upgrades. Plus I think Dell recommends 240W for extreme edition processors or dual graphics cards.
