    Serious problems with BF3 beta and Just Cause 2

    I've got an M17x-R1 and I'm having some troubling issues with the BF3 beta and Just Cause 2. They're running at approximately 1 frame per second. I've got the latest beta driver (285.38), though I've tried with many other drivers and the problem persists.

    I know for a fact that Just Cause 2 can run smoothly on this machine because it has in the past (long ago).

    Check out this short video I made to show the issues. It starts off with showing that BF:BC2 and Dead Space run just fine.

    Was playing the beta last night on my R1 (280M SLI) and I was running everything on high at 1680x1080 (native res of my external), but with anti-aliasing and motion blur turned off, and it was running extremely smooth.

    I'll check tonight what the fps is.

    The problem with Just Cause 2 is that it sucks...

    Not sure on the whole BF3 thing...are you in stealth mode? Is stealth mode on R1s?
