    Setting up surround sound?

    Ive had my laptop for a couple weeks now, and I still cant seem to get my audio just right, its starting to get the best of me. The Logitech speakers I own have a cord with three jacks on it. Green, orange and black. I've been putting the green into the "s/pdif" port, and the orange and black into the other audio connections in the laptop. I open up IDT audio control and change the sound to 5.1, but it just sounds.. way too bassy. It actually sounds better on stereo.

    Any advice?
