    99% of people will never use the difference in features between Home Premium and Ultimate. I'd save the coin and stay with Home Premium.

    It's not as if you'll be connecting to a domain and such...right?

    I get pro because it sounds better. Home premium just sounds so very lame. I also get it because I run 1 program that requires xp an pro/ultimate have xp mode. I doubt I'd ever use it but it was excuse enough.

    You can always instant upgrade from HP to Prof or Ultimate if you find yourself wanting one of those features.
