    My m17x is now out of production according to the people I was talking to on the phone. I called Dell customer support hoping to change my 5-7 day shipping to next day. Unfortunately it's to late. Thus, if it was out of production earlier today, is it now in the shipping and handling portion of the process? Will I get my laptop at most a week from now? :confused:

    The BEST way is to check your order status page. Once it's out of production, then it will show up as "Delivery Preparation" and then "Shipped." Delivery preparation means the laptop has been packaged and is en route to your local shipping courier.

    If you ordered from the outlet, then it will be just shipped from Dell's facility in TN.

    Nah i didn't order it from the outlet. However, I did call the number you mentioned and unfortunately I got the same response that the other people gave me ,"It has already been shipped". As long as this means that the thing will be here in the next 5-7 days, I'm relatively content. The only thing that is a bit upsetting is the fact that the support agents keep refrencing the possibility of a 10/26 arrival which makes me like ;_;

    However, if it were to arrive a week from today, or even five days from today, that could mean anywhere from 10/19 to 10/21. I wish I could stop the speculating, but I'm just too excited lol >.<
