    ^^^^^Build your system and than add it to your cart. Then call and haggle with price...should be able to say 20% easily.^^^^^

    Between the 15% sale that happened in early August, and my talking to a rep, I was able to get 27% off.

    what everyone above me said.... and they can also offer you 5% egift card for the total you bought the machine along with a $200 egift card to buy stuff from dell.

    no i haven't yet but not im considering it!

    what should i say to them to haggle down the price?

    thats freaking amazing! im gettiing more tempted to try giving it a shot at calling them up now. how'd you talk them to getting that 27%?

    this seems really great and i get all this extra stuff by talking to a sales rep?

    Never hurts to call, and when it comes from dell you have an easy return policy. Some of the ebay and amazon stuff can be tricky and suprises after purchase. Always safe to go with the main company and no middleman.

    Just failed to get any discount at all. I didn't talk through phone though, just through dell chat and theysaid they can't give any discouny at all :(

    Ummmm... please read my last post. We've given you rich information here on how to get a discount. Please follow our advice. Don't report back that a method none of us recommended didn't work out for you.

    You need a salesman... someone who understands that a discounted sale/commission is better than no sale/commission at all.
