    Hello everyone!

Im looking into getting a gaming laptop, and i can get an r2 for a very cheap price. I used to own an m14 and i loved it. But, im not as tech savy when it comes to knowing the hardware thats in it. So my question for everyone here is, will it run games that are out now on decent settings? And if not can i upgrade it? I dont play any graphic heavy games, most recently i want to get back into day z/ war z, maybe chivalry. But here are the specs. Let me know what you guys think!

    Intel Core i7 820QM Processor (1.73 GHz)
    ATI/AMD 4870M Graphics (single card), upgradable to 5870/6990/7980 Single/X-Fire
    4GB RAM, upgradable
    250GB HDD
    DW370 Bluetooth Module
    DW1520 WiFi Module
    DVD +/- Reader/Writer
    Integrated WebCam
    240W AC Adapter

It depends of how much you are paying for it, because in the future if you want to upgrade the graphic cards and cpu to an extreme one, you will have to spare quite a lot of money... Graphic cards do not come cheap at all, and if you want to put 2 cards in crossfireX then you need the back bracket of the card, heatsinks, crossfirex cable, thermal pads and so on (I can add more if you want).

Since you are not playing that intensive games and you have access in purchasing the new alienware systems, you are better in getting a basic model of either current 14" or 17" models. Just a thought, because there is nothing great about the system you just described ex. no extreme cpu, no dual cards and not even an ssd drive (solid state drive). I do not even know what kind of a screen your system has, but I bet it is the 900p one...

Well im not going to pay more then 600 for it. Ive just always been a fan of alienware. And ive looked at their prices now, for whats current, and its more then i really want to spend on a gaming laptop.
And the video cards ive seen are about 150 for the next version up, i think.
But i mean lets say 600? is that a bad price?
It'll run some stuff and then if i need to i can upgrade it right?

If you don't get it for $600 send me the link and I'll get it for myself. That's a great deal taking in consideration that I've seen those running 7970m.
