    I might be mistaken but I believe machine on the right was already turned on. Alienware head was glowing before turning them both on.

    Sometimes the Alienhead starts glowing as you plug the AC cord in to indicate charging etc. Doesn't necessarily mean it's actually on.

    Yes both were plugged and off. The red one did have a dead battery the last time it was used so im guessing it was charging.
