So I had my hands behind my machine and noticed only side was blowing out warm air. Opened Hwinfo and lo and behold only one gpu is being used. Crossfire is enabled, all i'm doing is browsing the web/hulu.
    What is causing this?

You will only be utilizing 1 gpu while browsing anyway. If you restart Hwinfo should read your second card.I seen it do this before .Try that.If you going to be solely browsing why not disable Xfire anyway i do.

Is it possible to disable powerplay, in windows 7 or ccc ? I want to get both my 5870;s to run at 700/1000.

I downloaded Hwinfo but it says that it can't connect to my GPU's because of some driver issue :\
