Hello, I've been having this problem for quite some time. My 2nd gpu fan is not spinning up completely.

Under 100% load on both gpu's, the Master gpu fan will be running at ~4300rpm while the Slave gpu fan is running at ~4000rpm. I'm using HWinfo to check this.

As a result (I'm assuming) the Slave gpu is reporting temps that are about 5-7C hotter than the Master gpu under the same load. Can someone help me figure out how to fix this?

There doesn't seem to be a problem. That slave always runs cooler, and I don't trust the fan RPM numbers that HWInfo reports.

No, the slave is running hotter. And I can also tell by the volume of air coming out of the vents that the slave fan is not spinning as fast as the master.

Oops. I need to learn to read apparently. All of the fans in the system hook to the motherboard. Either the fan isn't being supplied the power it needs, or it is, but a mucked up bearing or something is causing it to not spin as quickly. Dell will send you a new fan, but it must be installed by one of their technicians. Some folks say that Dell let them install the fan themselves. If that doesn't solve anything, then the mobo isn't supplying enough power to the fan, and I don't know how to fix that other than replacing it too.

Have you cleaned the crud out of the heat sinks and off of the fan blades lately?
