    I think that none of them will fit your M17x. Either they are too thin for the 4.45cm dept or not wide enough. The width of M17x is 41cm.

    I used Duragadget's sleeve, it opens fully and fits it perfect. I think I'll do a few modfications with it so it can also act as a skin.

    That p-tac sleeve doesn't really fit the m17x - the 17" is too tight and the 18" is quite loose- allowing the laptop to slide around. I returned one, waited for the replacement, and returned it too. Nice materials- very thick- but not for m17x IMHO.

    Correct. The thickness of M17x is 44.5mm. I think if you buy any sleeve, give it a bit snug so you won't have to force your laptop out and in every time.

    I thought of it but it feels more like an actual bag instead of just a sleeve that people can tug into their backpack/ suitcase if they happen to not have a laptop compartment.

    Sorry to dig up an old thread but I've got an M17X R4 on the way and I'm looking for a sleeve now, so please don't flog me.

    Has anyone tried this sleeve yet? I realize its 4mm too small (thickness) but I really like it.
