    Happens all the time especially when I'm scrolling pdfs and facebook posts. The buzzing is very soft and it comes from the system itself. Been like this for months but it's starting to bother me.

    Should I be concerned?

    It's CPU whine, and it's prefectly normal. Could also be GPU coil whine, which is also normal for GPU's under load as the coils are oscillating at a frequency that's audible to the human ear.

    Second. My laptop doesn't do it, but I have an AMD 6870 desktop card that whines.
