Hey guys basically on my m17x where you plug the charger in that DC port came loose so i had to re-solder it by taking the laptop apart. This worked however now the keyboard is extremely slow now. I doubled checked to see if it was loose from the connection in the keyboard but its appears to be in perfectly fine. Any ideas? Its slow in BIOS aswell. Thanks!

What do you mean it is slow? Is there a delay in typing? I would try a new keyboard.

Try an external keyboard, if it works fine, it might be the system's keyboard that's malfunctioning. Tripe check the connection :)

I managed to solve it anyway guys. Did the freezer trick posted online. Basically put my battery in a bag left it over night in a freezer and took it out in the morning left the battery in my room until it reached normal room temperature then put it in my laptop. Charged it when fully charged left it on battery mode till it died on then recharged it a few times. And it just started working must have had a dead battery and the freezer trick fixed it.
