    Sniper V2 - M17x R3 low fps..please help

    hi,

    i have been trying to get this game to work, it installs fine...

    but when i run it at medium setting im only getting 11fps... when i go into advanced options it says DX11 advanced features not available. not sure if i missed something i need to install...

    system details

    m17x r3
    nvidia 580m
    i7 2860
    16g 1600mhz memory...

    any idea guys

    Right click the game's shortcut - look for an nvidia icon/something to select GPU.

    Select the 580 instead of the intel.

    Also somewhere in nvidia control panel to set this. I disabled the intel GPU entirely, so forgot all this.

    When I tried the demo of that game on my R4 it defaulted to using the integrated graphics, it's probably doing the same thing for you.

    With the dawn of optimus graphics cards, your first reaction to a game running at 11FPS should be: "Is this game's .exe whitelisted?"

    I have even tried the demo from steam with the same result...

    Try to go to nvidia control panel and from the 3d settings, add the .exe file for that game and assign your 580m as the preferred GPU.
