Alright, I'd be glad to try to help you buy i'm a little confused.

Your original problem is that your computer froze while configuring AlienSense? So did you restart your computer after that and try again, or did you just immediately reinstall windows?

When you say make a new array, do you mean a RAID array? Do you have 1 or two hard drives, because from the way i'm receiving your info it sounds like you have only 1 hard drive and you're trying to make a RAID array.

When you reinstall windows you'll want to format the partition, and then install it on that same partition. Make sure you're booting from the CD, and that you're installing it on the correct partition. It should be the one Labeled OS, and will most likely be the largest partition.

I hace 2 hard drive ar raid 0, i did restart the window a few times after i encountered the problem, but each time it take forever to log in, then when i log in, i can only move the mouse but cant click at anything. The. I reinstall the window. I did format the hard drive, i even delete the current array then creat a new one. Then i install the window, and at the expanding windows fike, at ~17% it said file is missing or corrupt :(

I would suggest calling up dell and asking them to send you another windows CD, and just explain your issue to them. That should fix your problem.

    Good Luck

Chances are that either one of the hard drives is bad, or your memory is toast. Can you download/run MemTest86+ and first try testing the RAM for at least a few 'passes' (aka run the test a few times). It will probably take a good 4, and up to 8, hours to test it long enough to prove the RAM is really good.

What do u mean, my hard drive is momentus xt 500gb, i just replace it a few days ago, ive been reinstall the window for several times and everything was fine until my computer froze :(. And for the ram, im gonna rerplace the 4gb ram with 8gb tmr, but i dont think the problem here is the ram. I just tried again and this time i was able to go to ~60% lf the process until it siad missing or corrupt part. Im thinking sbout pug in the old hardrive and try again

Ngthien255, you have got the worst luck...on...the...planet. The mouse, the CPU usage, and now this. My advice to you would be to quit tinkering with your laptop until you've become a little more familiar with it. I realize it may sound like I'm jumping to conclusions, but there are many people here locally who's computers I service. Most, if not all, of their problems are a result of them tinkering with their computers. Changing settings, always messing with things, fixing what's not broken, that sort of thing.

Did you say you're trying to install Windows on a pair of 500GB Momentus XTs in RAID0? The ones with the integrated 4GB SSD? I was going to run a pair of them in RAID0, but people were having issues with it. Have you tried installing Windows on just a single HDD? If not, do that.
