    Soft Touch same as Asus G73 materials?

    I as wondering if the Alienware M17x R3 "Soft Touch" plastic / rubber materials is the same as the Asus G73.

    My first one feels like the G73 I demo'd at BB. My 2nd one not so much. It feels like they put more of that rubber stuff on it, prolly to address people's complaints from the 1st batch that the rubber coating was peeling. I'm only talking about the lid, btw.

    I think my R3's coating is far better than my old g73. The rubber coating on my old g73 feels cheap and thin.
