Alright, so I had a couple of dead pixels that were dark that showed up on my screen so I had it replaced with a different one. Well turns out the one the tech replaced it with had dead pixels too! These were smaller and fewer, and only show up when there's dark colors (black, etc. These dead pixels are white). Another thing I noticed is while this screen is the same resolution, the colors on here seem less vibrant (I think the texture of the matte screen is more matte than the previous one/ less reflective. The old one at certain angles had some reflection.) But also the viewing angles seem worse, again with dark colors.

I was however, looking at getting a higher color gamut screen. The thing is unlike 15", the 17" only has a screen going up to 90% oppose to 95%, and it's glossy not matte. At this point what's my best option for my screen? Should I get the higher gamut screen even though its glossy?

I would stay with the one you have, personally.
